This story began a year ago with me saving my money and Lori planning my best trip ever!! Hi my name is Denise and in July of this year I took my first plane ride to Toronto and it was great!! I was not afraid… it was thrilling to be up in the clouds.

Lori first planned for me to have a manicure, pedicure and a haircut before we left. She took me to buy a new outfit to travel in and 2 new CD’s to listen to. The trip began real early in the morning and it was dark when we left but the plane ride was nice and short. When we got to Toronto we took a ferry to get to the city because we flew to a place called Toronto Island. Once we got off the plane we took a bus to our Hotel. It was a real big and fancy one called “The Royal York”. Our room was very nice and pretty. It had a great big statue of a lion out front. We went shopping right away, down a very long street called Yonge Street. SO many people and stores! Lori took me to a place called SunRise records OH MY GOD!! Soooo many records.! I loved it! I bought a whole bunch. We spent almost 3 hours in there. From there we went to supper at Frans on Yonge. I had the best spaghetti ever! I was tired so we took a taxi back to our hotel. I had a relaxing evening with some pop, chips, and my music in a real nice hotel.

In the morning we started out with a fancy breakfast in the hotel and then we took a subway ride to shop so more. I really loved the subway. I had an artist draw my picture on the street. I had lots of pop, treats, plenty of shopping, great meals, lots of laughs and good company. We spent all day shopping until it was time to go home. I was tired but excited at the same time. Lori had to carry my luggage because it was too full of records! I giggled about this. Lori took lots of pictures and made me an album so that I can show my family and friends all about my trip.

When Lori and my staff asked me about how it was all I could say was “It was a damn good trip”. I look forward to the next one! I love the clouds!!!
