Community Living Espanola Adult Respite Services is a community-based service that supports families with special needs by assisting in a period of respite.
Adult respite care provides temporary relief from the physical and emotional demands involved in caring for a family member with special needs. Respite creates greater opportunities for all family members to live actively and participate in community activities. It provides parents/guardians with a much needed break to:
- spend time with the other sibling(s)
- enjoy an evening out
- take a short holiday
- take a course
- pursue hobbies or social activities
Community Living Espanola offers a variety of supportive respite programs to the families of adult persons with developmental disabilities.
