Community Living Espanola strongly believes in the merits of staff development. By participating in training programs, our employees are able to obtain and maintain a wide range of skills that directly enhance the quality of services we provide to the individuals we support.
In keeping with our belief in providing high quality services, we require that all employees receive and maintain the following:
- Emergency First Aid/CPR
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI)
- Quality Assurance Measures
- Abuse Awareness Training
- Workplace Violence and Harassment Training
- Back Care, WHMIS, Musculoskeletal (MSD), FIT Testing and all other Health & Safety related training as required
Additional training may include:
- Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Positive Behaviour Supports
- Mindfulness
- Dual Diagnosis Certification
- Core Competencies
